Great plot of land and choice of characters. Great Work. My suggestions are this: The only introduction the theme gives to the characters is that they belong to a pack and they are friends. Perhaps you could try building a broader base, perchance talk about alliance and maybe a restrict experience the two had. You could as well as add a teensy more depth to the part when they are referring to the last meter we followed a noise severalise that they got in trouble and character who punished, perhaps like, Papa Tulio, or the pack leader, Wise Turtle.
