Teams are found in legion(predicate) places in todays world; there are attorney aggroups, personal credit line teams, and athletic teams everywhere one looks. Teams take on many forms and structures; they vary in size, value, and purpose. Teams are formed to recommend things, to guide things, and to do things.
The University of Phoenix requires the formation of Learning Teams in their educational structure. At the beginning of for each one course, students must quickly square off who they feel would best fit into their teams and who will best tote up to the goal of achieving a high grade. How do individuals come in concert to utilize their skills in order to reach a familiar purpose? What does it take to become a high military operation team in a short time drop of just five weeks?
There are several answers to the questions posed. Accountability, flexibility, and personal interaction are what seem to work for our team. Members Daniel Barrett, Catherine Dean-Galloway, and Tracey Hunkins have each versed to appreciate and utilize their team mates unique skills and personalities to obtain roaring collaboration.
The term team is described in our course textbook as, groups of people who work together to accomplish a ballpark purpose.
Teamwork involves constructive listening and responding, the exchange of feedback and support, and the recognition of the interests and achievements of all team members. The text further states that, to become a high performance team, members must hold the same core values and intelligence of purpose while possessing the right mixture of skills and creativity (Chapter 10 pgs 2-4, Organizational Behavior, 2005).
